My name is Crystal Melina, Founder of Melina’s Munchies and mother of two beautiful girls. What started as a side business back in 2015 has grown into my life’s calling.
In 2015 I made my very first cake. I kid you not within days of posting this cake inquiries just started flying In.
Before I knew it I was taking 15 orders a weekend every single weekend. For years I attended YouTube University and challenged myself to every and any cake design that came my way. With each year that passed my knowledge and skill set grew.
My Journey
But after years of eat, sleep, cake. I knew something had to change I knew something was missing. In 2021 in the heart of the pandemic, my youngest daughter was diagnosed with autism and I could no longer take on a large number of cake orders. I decided this is my time no more waiting for my dream orders it was time to bet on myself and just make the cakes I'd always dreamed about making. I wanted to make cakes you couldn't find anywhere. Show-stopping centerpieces. 3D, sculpted, gravity-defying, moving, spinning ing, light-up cakes. And I DID I fearlessly made cakes I never thought I could. I BECAME A LUXURY CAKE ARTIST!
My cake journey has been nothing short of amazing. My favorite part of what I do is seeing clients reactions and receiving those feedback. From birthdays to weddings and everything in between I look forward to creating something special for you.
